What each tool knows about your examiner.
Trademark practice runs on TM TKO, Alt Legal, Corsearch, Clarivate CompuMark and the USPTO's own record. This page says what each one does and what it costs where the vendor publishes a price. CrystalMark is the only tool here that rates an examiner's difficulty against the active examining corps.

TSDR gives real-time access to the electronic file wrapper, case by case, with nothing computed across cases. The dashboards are office-wide.
§ 3 · The boundary
What CrystalMark does not do.
CrystalMark is not a docketing system of record, and it does not clear a mark, watch new filings for similar marks, retrieve past responses, or draft your response to the office action. It covers the USPTO.
Attorneys buy those tools for work CrystalMark does not do. What CrystalMark computes is the examining attorney's own record on the cases already decided.
TM TKO, Alt Legal and Clarivate hold office-action or decision data, indexed by mark, owner, case or representative. Corsearch's 2013 Analytics release described office-action data against each federal record. One Clarivate feature, Watch Analyzer's opposition-strength score, is trained on historical decisions from judges and examiners in aggregate; it carries no lookup for a named examining attorney. CrystalMark's data is indexed by the examining attorney, and each profile is published with the sample behind every rate.
§ 4 · Questions
Six questions, answered plainly.
Does CrystalMark replace my docketing system?
No. Alt Legal, FoundationIP, IPfolio or your own stays the system of record. The docket board shows every pending application on its stage with the statutory window, marks every date as an estimate, and says: “Verify dates against your docketing system.”
Is CrystalMark an alternative to TM TKO?
For the examiner read, yes. TM TKO's examiner analytics sit inside its response tool for the issue you are answering, and it also searches, watches, retrieves past responses and drafts. CrystalMark computes a standing profile for each examining attorney, with the sample behind every figure. The two answer different questions on the same file.
What does CrystalMark add to Alt Legal's §2(d) watch?
Alt Legal classifies office actions daily, says the next day when a client's mark is cited, and follows the citing application to publication. Marks enroll from the firm's USPTO correspondent email address. CrystalMark watches the same event and adds the read on the examining attorney who issued the refusal, the cited registrations ranked with what came off, and notice when a registration cited against your own application is cancelled or expired. Alt Legal computes nothing about the examiner.
Can I use CrystalMark alongside Corsearch or CompuMark?
Yes. They clear and watch marks across hundreds of registers with analysts beside the software, priced on request. CrystalMark starts after filing, on the examining attorney holding the case, at a published $49.99 per seat a month.
Is there a free source for trademark examiner statistics?
No. The USPTO publishes first-action approval and pendency for the whole office and nothing by examining attorney, and the free examiner-statistics sites cover patent examiners. CrystalMark's free pages list the active examining corps by Law Office, and a free account connects your docket and shows which examiner holds each case.
